Beautiful Georgian guesthouse and self-catering cottage in Hutton-le-Hole, one of England's most picturesque villages, within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
We provide bed and breakfast accommodation, and dinner by prior arrangement. All bedrooms are ensuite, one has a four poster bed. The house has a comfortable sitting room with a log fire, and a secluded streamside garden. We pride ourselves on our great food and cheerful atmosphere. Moorlands House is a non-smoking property.
We have both double and twin rooms. All rooms are beautifully furnished, have ensuite bathrooms (shower or bath), colour television with teletext, central heating, tea and coffee.
In the evening you are welcome to enjoy the drawing room with an open fire, comfortable sofas and lots of books.
At one side of the house runs the stream of Hutton Beck, winding its way past our peaceful garden which is home to a variety of birdlike. You are welcome to relax in the tranquility of both the garden and the garden room at all times.
A hearty breakfast is served in the dining room each morning in front of the magnificent 20” deep stone fireplace. We offer the choice of a sumptuous full English breakfast as well as less traditional options for meat eaters and vegetarians. A range of cereals, yoghurts and home made bread is also served, and a range of teas and freshly brewed coffee. We always try to use local and home-made ingredients. Please let us know in advance you have any special dietary requirements or preferences.
