Tailors Hall Hotel is an ideal location whether staying for business or pleasure. Built in 1621 for the Guild of Tailors, renovated and transformed in 1998 and now offering 42 bedrooms, equivalent of a three star standard.
Located in the Cowgate, which is an extension of the Grassmarket, Tailors Hall Hotel is only minutes walk from the Royal Mile. The hotel does not have a car park and therefore recommends the guests use the Waverley Car Park on New Street just off the Royal Mile. Hotel guests are offered a discount.
The entrance to the hotel and bar is through the cobbled courtyard. In the summer months you can enjoy our beer bar and, weather permitting, BBQ. We occasionally have themed events and outside disco which all guests are invited to join.
The Three Sisters Pub is located next to the reception and is open daily from 9am until 1am featuring live DJ's 7 nights a week. Noise from the pub can affect bedrooms overlooking the courtyard.
From Sunday to Thursday leisure visitors, overseas groups and corporate clients occupy the hotel. Stag and Hen parties are very welcome over the weekend when the Three Sisters Pub comes alive with a lively and young crowd.
There are 42 bedrooms located between the four floors which are serviced by a lift. Each room is modern in décor with light wood furnishings and equipped with:

There is a night porter on duty through out the night should you require assistance.
Our full Scottish breakfast is included in all rates, and served 'Upstairs' in the breakfast room between 7.30am and 9.30am Monday - Friday and from 8am and 10am at the weekend. Continental breakfast commences 30 minutes prior to these times.
The hotel operates on a bed and breakfast basis only although we are pleased to accept advanced group bookings for lunch or dinner.
