The weather in Wales is temperate, seldom very cold or very hot and the warmest months are from May to August The autumn (or fall) is very pretty when the leaves on the trees change colour and slowly fall to the ground.
The main language is English although on average around 20% of the population speak Welsh. In mid and North Wales this rises markedly with 40% to 60% speaking Welsh as their first language.
Wales is an excellent place for walking holidays, playing golf, fishing the many rivers or just relaxing and enjoying the fantastic views - or perhaps talking with the local friendly folk who live here!
